Since the opening of the Royal Golf Course in Marrakech in the early 1920s, golf is a common sport in Morocco.
King Hassan II himself was the honorary president of the Morocco Golf Federation. The Hassan II Challenge Cup is held annually at the modern “Royal Dar es-Salam” course, ten Kilometres out of Rabat.
As also the national moroccan tourist office makes a lot of effort to attract more golfers, every golfer will have a warm welcome in Morocco

This new golf course was opened in November 1999 and is situated next to the well known golf club “Les Dunes” outside of Agadir. It is already good to play, and as there are a lot of trees and bushes it is hard to see that it is new. The course suits well to the landscape and contains 4 lakes for water reservation.
The club house, with beautiful terraces offers good food and drinks after a game.
You reach the golf course in only a few minutes from every hotel in Agadir with the golf shuttle.
Golf-Hotel-Jacaranda**** offers good comfort in a suitable atmosphere. |

Specially in the high-season of golf, March / April and October, we suggest an early reservation. All golf clubs accept a direct reservation per Fax. If you reserve, but do not come you have to pay fees.
To get reduction to the green fee, you have to reserve your starting times at the reception of your hotel one day before. Most courses offer special prices for a subscription of a couple of days.

In Rabat wird auf dem berühmten
Royal Golf de Dar es-Salam, alljährlich im November das Turnier um die Trophäe
von Hassan den II ausgetragen. |

Das
Turnier wurde über 36 Löcher auf dem Golfplatz Palmeraie ausgetragen.
Diese 18 Löcher sind eine der
letzten Schöpfungen von Robert Trent Jones, ein Standard 72 Platz mit 6.214
Meter Länge.
Der Platz erstreckt sich über 77
Hektar und schafft mit seinen großen Seen und zahllosen Palmen einen
eindrucksvollen Kontrast zur Wüste. Der Palmeraie Golf Komplex ist der
dritte, den Robert Trent Jones in Marokko baute.
Die beiden anderen Dar es-Salam in
Rabat sind gekennzeichnet durch einen Korkeichenwald und in Agadir der Royal
Golf-Club Med les Dunes ist ein typischer Links-Kurs, wie der Name schon sagt
- erbaut in den Sanddünen.
Für die Anlage Palmeraie wurde das Gras extra aus den Vereinigten Staaten
importiert, um damit die besten Bedingungen für ein ganzjähriges Spiel zu
schaffen |

In unmittelbarer Nähe des
Golfplatzes liegt das Hotel Palmeraie Golf Palace, eine Oase aus verschiedenen
Farben, exotischem Parfum, Springbrunnen und zahllosen Palmen. Das Haus wird
geprägt von Freundlichkeit und seiner üppig marokkanischen Architektur. Die
etwa 280 klimatisierten Zimmer und Suiten sind mit Bad, Dusche, WC,
Satelliten-Fernsehen, Minibar und Balkon ausgestattet. Von ihnen bietet sich
ein herrlicher Blick auf den gepflegten Garten, den Swimmingpool oder den
Golfplatz.
Zur Anlage gehören auch acht verschiedene Restaurants, ein Nightclub und 50
