As the whole Atlantic coast is famous for windsurfing, there are also some top-notch windsurfing spots in Morocco. They have been visited by French windsurfers for years, so most of them already have a pleasant infrastructure. Essaouira, Taghazout and Sidi Ifni are the centers of windsurfing in Morocco. Latter only with little infrastructure.
The spots around Essaouira, like Moulay Bouzerktoune or Sidi Kaouki offer perfect windsurfing conditions. Waves are between ½ m and 2 ½ m high, water temperature is about 20°C (68° F) and wind is blowing with 4-7BFJ.

Sidi Ifni: A former Spanish town, offers good surfing conditions, but the infrastructure is only little developed.

Taghazout : Beginners better do not leave the beach of Taghazout. More experienced can go 1km south to the Anchor, Mystery-, or Killer point.

Cap Sim : Leave Essaouira direction of Sidi Kaouki, turn right and take piste about 3km.Good accommodation for windsurfers is Hotel Al Jasira, Hotel Vent des Dunes or Villa Quieta. Of course, you can book here.
